Q: Do I need to be sponsored to join?
A: If you know someone who is already a member, we ask that
you please supply their name on the application. If you do not
know any current members, just leave the area blank and someone from
our Membership Committee will sponsor you. Q: What is the total
cost of membership?
A: It depends on what classification of membership you
desire, please click on
Membership Opportunities for more
information. The fees provided include ALL dues,
assessments and taxes. When shopping around be sure to ask for
these additional fees as many clubs leave them out of their marketing
materials. For instance, taxes for Country Club dues are 10%
which can significantly increase the total cost. Q: What are
the other fees associated with membership?
A: Members are responsible for two other fees. The
restaurant minimum of $50 per month from May - September and a
range fee of $100. All of the other fees such as guest fees,
large lockers and club storage are additional and not required by our
membership. Q: What is the initiation fee?
A: Indian Hill Country Club offers three options for the
Initiation fee:
$0 Initiation when signing a 2 year commitment.
$500 Initiation when signing a 1 year commitment.
$2500 Initiation and no commitment necessary - cancel anytime. Q: How do the annual dues work, what if I join
in April instead of January?
A: Indian Hill's membership dues are an annual commitment
based on a golf season from May - September. If you join in April
you will be charged the yearly dues divided by the months remaining (9
months with an April start, 8 months with a May start).
Memberships become prorated once the golf season begins.
Starting in June and 1/5th of the season has passed equating to a 20%
discount. For convenience, we spread our dues over 12 month span
to make the monthly payment more affordable. Q: I have never
belonged to a private club before, what should I expect?
A: The most important thing is to have fun while here at
Indian Hill. Our helpful staff will assist you in getting familiarized
with the golf course and the rules and regulations regarding play.
During the application process the General Manager, or one of the Golf
Professionals, will provide a tour of the facility. You may even
ask to see the maintenance building or any other part of the club
typically not seen by members. The few rules and regulations we have make it fair and safe for
the other members. The golf shop and the PGA Professionals are the
best way to gain important knowledge and they are there to make sure your
questions are answered. Q: How do tee times work?
A: Tee times during the week are not needed. You may
contact the golf shop or look at the events calendar to see if there is
anything special going on that day. Weekend Tee Times are done by
a
lottery. In the golf shop and online, there are "tee time cards".
You can fill these out for just yourself, a twosome, threesome or a
foursome. You will then put down what time you would like to
play. If you write 9:00am, you will typically play between 8:45am
and 9:15am. The "tee time cards" are drawn on Tuesdays at 5:00pm
and posted online and outside of the golf shop by Wednesday 12:00pm.
Q: Can I use cash instead of charging to my account?
A: Indian Hill accepts cash and credit cards for member
purchases or you can always use you house account to purchase items.
Q: Can I bring a non-member/guest to play with me?
A: Yes, all membership classifications have guest privileges.
Guests must pay a guest fee and sign into the membership book located
in the golf shop. Guests may play twice per month. You may
only bring one guest prior to 11:00am on Weekends and Holidays. |
